Question: My property is much older than 1978 and hasn't been fully 'gutted.'  Do you see older houses pass “Lead Free”, or would you recommend just doing a “Lead Safe” test?

Answer:   If a house has not been completely renovated (basement to roof including all moldings and every painted surface) it is unlikely to pass a “lead free” test and therefore we recommend doing a “lead safe” test. “Lead Free” requires a comprehensive level of certification that also includes any public areas (hallways, laundry rooms, stairwells, basements, etc.)

We hope this information is useful/of interest to you and appreciate your continued business.
