This week we are featuring a common question: 

Question: If I sell my rental property, is the certificate and results transferable to the new owner?

 

 

Answer:  Lead safe certifications are not transferable. Lead safe inspections must take place every 3 years for rental properties and/or anytime a rental property transfer occurs. Only lead free certifications are transferable to the next property owner.
