LEAD SAFE CERTIFICATION PRICING

The fee for this service is based upon the # of bedrooms on the property. Norristown Borough requires that each property (not each rental unit) to be tested (i.e. a duplex is considered 1 property). Our price list is as follows:

  • Efficiency & Studio - $200

  • 1 Bedroom - $200

  • 2 Bedroom - $225

  • 3 Bedroom - $250

  • 4 Bedroom - $275

  • 5 Bedroom - $300

  • Add $25 incremental cost for each additional bedroom

Upon passing according to the EPA standards as adopted by the City of Philadelphia, you will receive the following:

  1. Lead Safe Certification

  2. Laboratory Results

  3. Step By Step Instructions to File Certifications with the City of Philadelphia Public Health Department (this will enable you to renew your rental license on Eclipse).

LEAD FREE CERTIFICATION PRICING

The fee for the "LEAD FREE" service is based upon the # of bedrooms in the property.  Our price list is as follows:

  • Efficiency & Studio - $450

  • 1 Bedroom - $450

  • 2 Bedroom - $450

  • 3 Bedroom - $450

  • 4 Bedroom - $500

  • 5 Bedroom - $550

  • Add $50 incremental cost for each additional bedroom

In the case your property FAILS the "LEAD FREE" test while we are performing the test, we will immediately perform a "LEAD SAFE" test. This way you are ensured you are in compliance with the lead law.

Appointment No Show

In the event that a tenant does not provide access or there is no landlord or management company representative onsite to gain access to the unit/home at the scheduled time of the test, an “Appointment No Show” fee will be billed in the amount of $75.
